Restaurants in Naples, FL

Naples is my home base, and I am beyond grateful that is the story. I wouldn’t ask for another place to grow up because it truly is paradise. I think Naples is a bubble, and in that case it is important to travel, and I am lucky that my mum has always encouraged that!

Below is a list of my favorite Naples restaurants, and hopefully this will give you some new places to check out or some of your favorite spots too!

Lunch/Dinner:

USS Nemo: This is an institution in Naples, and their seafood is delicious! I usually like to come here for lunch because there is such a nice variety between the salads, sandwiches, tacos, and main plates. This past year I have been ordering their yummy Asian Cauliflower dish! It is worth it to have reservations if you are going for dinner especially in the season! This is the Miso Sea bass dish that I also enjoy below – absolutely delicious.

Bricktops: Located in Waterside Shops, Bricktops is a great place if you are going with a large group because they have something for everyone! I really enjoy sitting at the Chef’s Table next to the kitchen where you can see all of the action! The Deviled Eggs with Millionaire Bacon is too yummy (right, Debi?!) Their sushi is delicious, and it is a nice place to take a break while shopping! Don’t leave without trying “The Cookie”!

Ocean Prime: One of the newer spots in Naples as they opened in December 2016! They took over the old Avenue 5 space, and it is such an upgrade. Service is wonderful, and the menu has a lot of choice. Personally, I don’t eat steak, but I find that there are so many options. They even have a vegan option for those who don’t eat animal products. My favorite cocktail is the Berries & Bubbles – what a treat!

Zen Asian BBQ: I liked the variety of Asian food at Zen Asian, and it also has a good variety of options! Funnily enough, this was the first place that I tried the Matcha Crepe Cake, and fell in love! A must try for Asian cuisine!

Yabba Island Grill: A fun, tropical restaurant on the middle of 5th Avenue. It is a bit of a younger crowd, and lower prices compared to other downtown Naples restaurants. I enjoy their version of a Chopped salad, and their Florida Fried Shrimp is so delicious!

Captain & Krewe: My favorite tuna salad in town! Their tuna sandwich is just so delicious that I get serious cravings – it’s a problem haha! The fresh fish is a nice touch, and if you are looking to cook at home you can choose fish from the case! They have a good happy hour as well, and if you have an RCC card you can use it there!

Caffe’ Milano: I was amazed by their homemade ice cream with the nuts & chocolate. I actually have to confess I went twice in one week….just for the ice cream. Their chicken parmesan is big enough for 2 people to share, and in general everything I have tried I enjoyed! If anything go for the ice cream, and just be happy!

Brooks Burgers: This is a fun one because it is SO CASUAL and unhealthy, but a fun spot to go to! They do make a good burger, and it is the ultimate cheat meal. My dear friend, Dorothy, and I enjoy going here, and we always have a fun time!

Komoon Thai & Sushi: I am a huge Thai & Sushi lover! I think the flavors are fantastic and I never get bored. Komoon has a fun fusion of sushi, Thai, and Peruvian! Personally, I have not tried much of the Peruvian, but their Thai & Sushi is great! Lots of choice, nice staff, and also good for takeout!

Old Europe Bistro: Very low-key and casual, but delicious food. I came across this restaurant in 2017, and I was really impressed with the authenticity. The Schnitzel was incredible with real German potato salad. They have a quaint little patio to sit on, and even though it is in a strip mall, the food is worth it! I would highly recommend anyone looking for a heavy comfort meal to try it out.

Brunch/Breakfast:

Jane’s Cafe on 3rd: I am a little biased on this one, but Jane’s truly is the best for brunch in Naples. Between the yummy French Toast to my favorite Fried Egg Jalapeño BLT, there are so many wonderful choices at Jane’s and the Big Girl Mimosas are a must try! Below are the Watermelon Pineapple Lemonades, and let me tell you – these are necessary on  a hot Florida day!

Dolce & Salato: A cute little Italian gem off of 5th Ave S in Naples. I really enjoy the cappuccinos there because they remind me of being in Italy, and so FOAMY! I like sitting on their little patio, and the bread is so on point. If you are looking for a European transport without the 9 hour flight, this is a cute place to go!

Nature’s Garden: I am mentioning Nature’s Garden because they make the best smoothies in town. Many people go across the street to Food & Thought, but Nature’s Garden has the thickest and tastiest smoothies. They don’t use ice, but the fruit is frozen so it has such a nice texture. It is a good spot if you want a nutritious and filling breakfast (especially after a workout!).
